Hello, my name is Louise. I am a registered Clinical Psychologist and BABCP member. I have practiced in the NHS for 15+ years.

I have a special interest in working with adults following difficult life experiences and those who are affected by anxiety, low self-esteem or low mood. I often work with individuals who have experienced significant physical trauma, for example following road traffic collisions, assaults or falls.

After such frightening events, people often describe difficulty adjusting to changes in how their body works or looks, and they may struggle to come to terms with upsetting memories of what took place.

I use an active, collaborative approach to help individuals work through their difficulties and move forwards in their lives. I draw on a range of evidence-based therapeutic models, predominantly Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT & TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

I aim to use my extensive training and experience to help people move past difficult experiences. Please get in touch to find out more.

Best wishes, Louise
